A male Reed Bunting from last week.....................
There were a couple of tames ones on the grassland we visited...............
I remember the first one of these I ever saw. It was alongside a canal somewhere north of Preston.
I also remember one coming to the bird table in my parents garden. Must have been almost 40 years ago now..............
Black-faced Buntings were also common in the same area.............
The Reed bunting is always a gorgeous bird to see. beautifully photogaphed Stuart
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret.......
DeleteReed Buntings do rather sing a lot. It's not always easy to get such good shots though Stu.
ReplyDeleteThey do have rather a boring song though...........
