2 or 3 weeks ago we witnessed a pair of Little Grebes having a bit of a nesting disaster.............
Well I guess they have enough time to try again.
In the same general area a pair (presumably the same ones) were trying to build a nest again.................
Always a bit odd to see them out of the water and walking around...............
A common but shy bird, I was glad to get some of these shots.
They were feeding on some kind of aquatic something.............
Sometimes they would dive and pop up close by. This one is uncropped.
