Kingfisher in the gloom

It is very dark under the trees in Onuma in summer.................

This makes it tricky to photograph anything.

This Kingfisher last week kept still at least.............

Canon's APS-C cameras are a little mushy at high ISOs especially when you crop and brighten the pics on the computer........

One day I'll get one perched in a beam of sunlight............

But not on this occasion.
