A drake Falcated Duck was a nice find yesterday near my apartment...........
It wasn't even particularly shy although it was physically difficult to get close.
I seem to have seen a lot of this species over the last year and a half................
Definitely one of the most attractive east Asian ducks..................
Nothing in the way of other passage migrants: just a couple of Asian Brown Flycatcher a couple of days ago.......

DeleteA very handsome duck I have yet to see. They show up at Mai Po in Hong Kong from time to time but none were present when I was there unfortunately.
