The Replacements
No more eagles anymore but they have been replaced in my sights by other raptors...............
The Ospreys have arrived for the summer and I saw several individuals at several sites...............
The Peregrines were in the usual place out east too.
Not a vintage day for pictures, I really need to go to that place in the later afternoon to get good light.............
Not a vintage day for birds either. Brent Goose, unidentified divers and the usual common ducks were on the sea but the ports were birdless. I saw my first Siberian Meadow Bunting of the year but apart from a lone Buff-bellied Pipit there wasn't much about at all.
Common and Black-headed Gulls are starting to pass through..............
At Kamiiso there were 25 Great Egret..................

Looks like a pretty good day to me Stu. To just head to a spot and see those species would be superb for me. Shame about your weather.
