An Asian Rosy Finch from Sunday afternoon..............
We visited the place where we'd seen a big flock of them 3 weeks ago. Today there were only 2..........
As you can see the ports are not pristine.
The nice light shows off this species beautiful colours..............
There were lots of Black Scoter on the sea but not many in the ports. This exhausted looking drake was resting in a port near Yakumo however...............
I don't think I have ever seen a scoter out of the water.
