Waxwings and blizzards
There were lots of birds feeding on berries in one of the local parks...........
Dusky Thrush, Brambling and Japanese Waxwing were all present with a flock of about 50 of the latter................
The weather was nasty: dark and blizzardy.....................
Not great photos, the sun did come out occasionally but usually not when the waxwings were active.
No Bohemians among them...........
Not really BIF conditions................
There were some other birders in the park. One of them shouted at me to stop moving. He did it a bit rudely so I got a little angry. It's a public park, not a private bird reserve. The birds were very jumpy for sure but were not especially wary of people (they were far more spooked by a passing Sparrowhawk). He probably didn't mean to be rude. Anyway I shouted a few cuss words at him in English and now I feel a little bit bad about it..............

It's too close to birds.
Let's Keep the manners.
Sorry but I disagree. The Waxwings come to the park every year.
DeleteIt's a public park. I was always 10 or more meters away. I shouldn't have got angry but I wasn't too close to the birds. The birds were behaving normally.
多分私は少し怒っていた
