A quiet Sunday
A Slaty-backed Gull trying to swallow a big shell......................
It was nice clear weather so instead of watching the Yakumo eagles doze hungrily in trees we headed out east back to the place where we'd seen the Kittiwakes, Harlequins and raptors a few days ago...........
There were far fewer kittiwakes this time round. The Peregrine, White-tailed Eagles and Mountain Hawk Eagle were all around but too far off for any decent shots. The Harlequin Ducks were present too but again not as close................
I always do this. Going back to the same places a few days later expecting things to be as good the second time round...................

It never ceases to amaze me what a gull can get down its throat.
