A grey Sunday in the port...........
Sunday afternoon was grey and snowy again...............
There were 4 Black-necked Grebes n one of the local ports: the summer plumaged one was still around..............
The others were dressed more conservatively.............
This male Blue Rock Thrush was also around.............
Also in the port were a few Scaup, 1 Great-crested Grebe, 1 Goldeneye, several Pochard and Tufted Duck. Further along the coast there was Goosander, Red-breasted Merganser, Harlequin Duck, Black Scoter and Whooper Swan. As I got home a White-tailed eagle was flying overhead being mobbed by gulls.............

The snow here has all melted away after a couple of mild days, one with quite a bit or rain. Winter is not over yet, however, and I am sure we will have more before it's all done.
