Some more Asian Rosy Finch pics from yesterday......................
I hadn't photographed this species much over the last 6 or 7 years: they are irregular visitors to SW Hokkaido and from what I'd experienced they tend to be a bit skittish. This flock was pretty tame however..................
Some of them kept watch...............
They are a pretty stunning little bird,especially in the right light..........
We revisited the same spot today but the flock had moved on...............
