Everything turned out rosy

We spent a couple of hours this afternoon looking for some Asian Rosy Finches to the east of Onuma................and we eventually found some.

This is one of the more interesting winter visitors and typically occurs in large flocks...................

This group seemed relatively tame.

There were about 70 or 80 of them.

They were in the corner of a port and it wasn't exactly scenic.............although at least there was some snow.

Not much else around. Siskin and Hawfinch only..............
