I had a couple of spare hours yesterday afternoon..................
Not much around near my flat. There was a pair of Bullfinch still mowing their way through the sakura buds................
This is the female................
The male showed a little bit of pink on its breast, possibly one of the mainland east Asian subspecies...............
Not much else about at all. A few Dusky Thrush only..................
They must brighten up your winter!

DeleteI am just at the end of a trip to Taiwan and Hong Kong. No Bullfinches, but loads of other interesting species.
