Some more repeats............

Last Monday we were in Oshamanbe and Yakumo.............

I was surprised to see the Black Scoter still there.................and it looks better on seaweed than concrete.

It swam out and then came back again and waddled onto land.............

I could finally see why it was stuck in the harbour.............it has an injury to its stomach. It's been there for a while so obviously it can feed itself but it doesn't look like it can live on the open sea at the moment.

The Long-tailed Duck was also in the same place as the last week................

Not much else around. A flock of Redpoll at Oshamanbe, that's about it.

Grey Starlings have arrived...............

I tried a few Glaucous Gull BIFs at then end of the day................

Very few birds in town the last week.........................hopefully the spring migration season will kick in very soon................

    1. There don't appear to be any cats nearby, crows are probably the biggest danger but it can swim away at least..............

  2. I love the shot of the Glaucoma gull pretending to be a Barn owl
