A quiet Sunday in early April

A low key kind of day.....................

Lots of Ospreys but I couldn't get any decent shots.

Lots of wildfowl...............Brent Geese, Wigeon and Pintail all in flocks, a lone Bewicks Swan, Gadwall, a small flock of Shoveler. lots of Red-breasted Merganser offshore plus all the usual stuff.

Here's a Pelagic Cormorant and a Peregrine...............

Other stuff: only 1 Black-necked Grebe (where are they all?), a few Black-throated Diver, Little-ringed Plover and my first Swallows and Asian House Martins of the year.

  1. I continue to be amazed at the number of Peregrine Falcons you have there and the relative ease with which you find them.

    1. This one is at an accessible location where they regularly breed...............

  2. "I couldn't get decent shots" is kinda contradicted by the shots you posted :P
