Some more crappy photos of ducks
I had an hour in Omuma this afternoon trying to relocate the Ring Necked Duck. I had only taken crappy record shots last Monday and the sun was out so I had high hopes as we set off.............
Unfortuntaely I couldn't relocate it but among the Whooper Swan flock on the ice free part of the lake there were 8 species of duck (including Smew) with 2 pairs of Falcated Duck being the most interesting. They were a little bit far for any chance of a decent photo though, and the sun was right behind too. These poor efforts were the best I could manage..........
Both species of eagle were also around, but again too far off for any decent photos.
