The last batch of photos from this month's trip up to north Hokkaido.............
I won't see any more Siberian Rubythroats until next summer probably (a few pass through Hakodate in autumn but they skulk in the vegetation)....................
The weather wasn't great on the trip but sometimes softer light can make this species look better.
Agreed about the soft light on the Rubythroats - great pics.
