It was sunny yesterday...................
Only a few Waxwings remained...............
About a dozen or so Bohemians were eating the dregs of the berries..................
Most of the other birds had gone too although there were a few Bramblings and Dusky Thrush around.
Flocks of the latter didn't contain any rarer species sadly: just the regular Dusky Thrushes.
Not much else around: Varied Tit, Coot and Tufted Duck only.
Those Dusky Thrushes are not bad compensation for the diminishing numbers of waxwings; handsome birds indeed.
ReplyDeleteToday there were no waxwings at all: just half a dozen Dusky Thrush............
DeleteDusky Thrushes AND Waxwings - your cup runneth over !
