A grey Sunday afternoon............
A male Blue Rock Thrush................
A grey lazy April afternoon saw us west of town. Not much around; lots of passage common Gulls, a few Swallows, the first Common Sandpiper of the year, Brent Goose, Mandarin Duck and the usual wildfowl..................
And several Osprey going about their business. They were never close and the light was terrible though.
I've just gotten over my cold but tomorrow is a visit to the dentist. The pain of the toothache exceeded the fear of the drill and so it's time to go.
Looks like spring is early this year..............

That is one happy osprey with that fish! Good luck at the dentist.
ReplyDeleteThanks Wilma..............
DeleteGreat job. The Blue Rock Thrush brings back fond memories of birding trip to Asia, and the Ospreys remind me that soon they will be returning here. Winter returned yesterday, however, with almost 15 cm of snow.
ReplyDeleteWinter has fully retreated here, I even saw a moth in the forest today..............
