The Falcated Duck was still in the park, and as jumpy as ever................
It kept flying off as soon as it realised it was being watched, after a couple of flushes I let it be.
It was rather dark and the 100-400 is not that great at tracking BIFs with busy backgrounds.
Also arounf were the first Red Cheeked Straling of the summer and I was surprised to flush a Woodcock in the corner of the park........................
beautiful head marking and great light shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret............
DeleteMust have been a Woodcock weekend for both of us. I had one probing in the vegetation at the side of a boardwalk at Pinery Provincial Park on Lake Huron oin the weekend. Impossible to get pictures, however.
ReplyDeleteI've never photographed one ever............
