The Black-necked Grebes were still around on Monday...............
As you can see it was in very nice light: 4 days out of my 5 day break had beautiful clear spring weather.
I'm guessing they'll be gone next time I visit this place...............
The usual common stuff around that day, between Hakodate and Kikonai there were also Black-throated Diver, Slavonian Grebe, Osprey and Brent Goose.
