I went back to the place out west where I'd seen the Ospreys fishing a couple of weeks ago..........
Up to 3 of them were present but thay had no success catching fish: just one unsuccessful dive in the 2 or 3 hours I was there waiting with my camera..........
I got a lot of BIF shots at least.
Most of the local bird photographers seem to ignore Ospreys, I have no idea why.
I even made eye contact with one.................
Against a white sky they don't look as good.............

DeleteOspreys are cool, I'd never ignore them, either.
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty difficult to see/photograph in most of the UK even after so long in Japan I still generally think of birds in their UK context so I still get excited by them even though they aren't scarce here at all.
