The wader season was a little slow in 2014, the best mostly coming on a weekend away in Tomakomai in late August......................
Near Hakodate there were just the more common wader species.................
After the wader season there was a bit of a lull. I got my new camera in November and birds slowly started reappearing.................
A beautiful series. I think my favourite is that striding Knot!
