Great Knot at Kamiso. This very tame bird was the only the second time I'd seen this species. The first time has been almost exactly 3 years previously on exactly the same stretch of beach.............
Maybe you'll find it again this year, Stu. I've yet to get any decent pic of this knot but they seem to be in a quite good number during winter in Thailand.
Great shot! It's been a while since I saw one. This species visits the northern wetlands.
ReplyDeleteWhat is the name of this species?

ReplyDeleteA very nice, close photograph of this usually elusive species.
ReplyDeleteGraet encounter with a highly desirable species for UK listers!
