Some Crossbills..................

There was a small flock of Crossbills in one of the local parks yesterday morning..............


Only about 4 of them and they were all high up in the trees.

Not an invasion year this year.................like in 2009/2014 when they were much bolder as hunger drove them to the pinecones on the ground.

Still always very nice to see..............

Hope they'll stick around for a few days.............
