A final visit to the pool.............
We went back to the forest pool the next day....................
The same birds were around..............
Lots of Eastern Crowned Warblers.
I heard the other 2 phylloscopus species singing nearby but neither came for a bath or drink.
They all look the same anyway, especially when you can't see the crown stripe of this species clearly.
The male Siberian Blue Robin made an appearance.
Here are male and female Narcissus Flycatchers..................
And the male Grey Bunting was still around.
And the Japanese Thrush too. Here you can see the problems of uneven lighting..............
I quite like the Eastern Crowned Warblers, a bit of a character...........
I could hear White Thrush singing nearby too but it either wasn't thirsty or it didn't need a bath......................
