It was a bit of a quiet summer, the weather was very mild apart from a brief hot spell at the end of July. Summer staples near Hakodate included Stonechats, Ural Owls, Green Pigeons and Ospreys...................
In mid July we went up to central and north Hokkaido. There were some tame Siberian Rubythroats.................
And other species too................
Some stunning pictures, Stu. Like the rubythroat, baby owl, and green pigeon in flight. My summers are always much quieter than that.
