2017 Best Of #1

Well we're in the last quarter of another year............

Here are some shots of the eagles in Yakumo right at the start of 2017. These were all taken on January 2/3/4th when the weather was surprisingly mild. The eagles were gathering at the rivermouth..............

As you can see there was no snow..................

I'm very lucky to have such birds 'on tap' for a few weeks every winter................

Of course they were feeding on salmon carcasses........

Some Stellers Sea Eagle BIFs..........

And some White-tailed Eagle BIFS...................

They'll start arriving for winter 2017/18 in around 3 or 4 weeks time..............
