A Red Throated Diver up nice and close in the harbour at Kamiiso 3 years ago today. These occasionally visit harbours when they are sick or injured but this one seemed to look OK......................

Great portrait - last time I saw one anything like close enough for a shot it dived and I never saw it again.

ReplyDeleteThey have to be poorly to get a shot like that after they usually turn up on the ornamental lakes at St Annnes or Fleetwood. Otherwise its distant views out on the sea.
