Peregrine on a mild late late autumn day

After freezing temperatures and snow a couple of days ago the weather became mild again............

This Peregrine was roadside near Oshamanbe............

A Crow chased it off and I was too close to take any dcent action shots. This was the best I could muster.

I wish it had been perched on a rock or something..............

Not much else up there. Whooper Swan, Great Egret and the usual ducks and gulls.

    1. It was a beautiful mild day..........seem to be getting a lot of them in recent winters worryingly.

    2. Mild and even humid down here too, this year.

    3. It was a balmy 10 degrees in Yakumo, probably a lott warmer where you are though!

  2. What a magnificent looking specimen, Stu. Lucky to see it up close like this.
