August 39th 2015.

A White-winged Black Tern near Yakumo 3 years ago today. Terns of any kind are rare in Hokkaido and this one especially so................

    I get excited when I see terns here. Their appearances are inconsistent too. I saw these last year and searched for them at the same time this year but came out empty handed. You got a better pic than me.

      I saw a few Common Terns offshore this week but too far away for any pics........
