A Glaucous Gull near Oshamanbe this afternoon................
A quiet day with not much about. There were more eagles than last week at Yakumo including a few Stellers but none close enough for a photo. Other stuff around included Goshawk, Whooper Swan, Great Egret, Dusky Thrush, a flock of 6 Kentish Plover at Oshamanbe, 7 species of gull, the usual common ducks and Great-crested Grebe.................
I envy you this annual return of the Eagles.
ReplyDeleteThere should be more to see in a couple of weeks I hope.........
DeleteHoping to come across one of those big white brutes on the east coast later this week - fingers crossed!

I think that was its name! January 1987 I saw him (I guess it was a male due to its size).........
