Waders arrive at last
Some waders on the local beaches................
We just got back from a short camping break. Here's a camping tip for you: don't go camping if there is a typhoon forescast. Ever.
The weather was fine as we headed out on Sunday morning. There was a small flock of common waders at Kamiiso including 1 Great Knot.
And 2 Terek Sabdpiper..................
And half a dozen Red Necked Stint or so...............
Near Yakumo there were a couple of Whimbrel on a small beach.............
We spent 2 nights camping next to Lake Shikotsuko and went birding on the coast near Tomakomai, more on that to follow..............
