Some shots from last spring.................
Not many rarities this year. I did see 2 saunders Gull including this one near Hakodate:
And Spoonbills are always nice to see.............
We found a small flock of Spotted Nutcracker which was a species I hadn't photographed before............
Kamiiso had lots of summer plumaged Black-necked Grebes this year.............
Spring brings Ospreys...............
And Japanese White-eyes...............
Great variety for a "Best of" post.....I'd never think of Nutcracker and Saunders' Gull in the same neighbourhood !
