A typical early autumn sight...........


There were lots of Night Herons on the river today.............


As I walked past i spooked one and then another 14 of them took flight squawking in the skies............


I see them at this season every year................


I saw one in the UK many many years ago...................





And was surprised to see how common they were here................







After a few minutes they quickly settled back in their hiding places.

  2. There are always more BCNHs in any bush or mangrove patch than one at first imagines....it's a sort of "Tardis Effect", I'm sure
