Ospreys on a grey Sunday

Sunday was a grim day..........................


Cold and grey and drizzly. There were at least 5 Ospreys hunting at the rivermouth in Yakumo though...........

The photos aren't so bad unless you look at them too hard...........

Only BIFs. They were fishing a lot but always out of camera range..............

They flew off in several different directions after catching fish so at least 2 or 3 pairs 'share' the rivermouth.

Eastern Marsh Harrier were also around as well as Black Kites of course.............
