A quiet Monday in mid March

Monday was a bit quiet...............

At Onuma the ice is beginning to melt slightly..................I disturbed a Grey Heron and great Egret at one partially frozen pond.

There were a couple of White-tailed Eagles around, several species of duck including Smew, falcated Duck, Pintail and the female Baikal Teal...........

Nearer town there was a flock of Black-necked grebes in one of the ports............

Not much else near town: a few Whooper Swan, the usual common ducks and gulls.................

  1. Some really interesting poses. They're all using the same angles. Nice team work.
