November blizzards...........

A load more snow today scuppered my plans to photograph the eagles up in Yakumo...................

We spent the day around Onuma. There were 2 Smew around.................

Other stuff included Yellow Throated and Rustic Bunting, Japanese Wagtail, Whooper Swan, Great Egret, lots of Goosander and the usual tits and woodpeckers. At Shikabe there was a flock of Japanese Waxwing and at Sawara some very shy Pale Thrush in the bushes.

Not many birds in photo range today.

  1. Blizzards are about all we haven't had this year. Don't send any our way Stu, just a Smew or two.

  2. I think snow is better than rain, Stu. I'm so tired of rain.
