On the way back from our trip we took a quick look at Oshamanbe...................
The weather was horrible.
Here's a Black Throated Diver in the port.
A drake Long-tailed Duck showed up too.
Whilst we were crossing a bridge we noticed 3 White-tailed Eagles.............I had to react very quickly but these were the best shots I could manage. I'll never make the grade as a pro photographer...........
It would be a real treat to see Long-tailed Ducks like that. We seem to get the dull female types and then only one or two. The winter has been very mild.
