Eagle season past its peak...........

I think the eagle season is starting to slowly fizzle out.................

There were still quite a lot around though.................

It's just they weren't doing much. Once the salmon have been eaten they have no reason to stick around. I may get one or two more chances in the first half of February but we're on a downward trajectory from here on in..............

Not much else around, I ended up in Oshamanbe where there was virtually nothing about at all. No Long Tailed Duck, Dunlin or anything, the harbours didn't hold much. Here's a Glaucous Winged Gull from one of them....................

The grebes have vacated the harbour at Kamiiso too, there were 3 Red Breasted Merganser there however..................

No footy on tonight but it's OK: I have Bojack Horseman.

  2. Nice flight shots of the Steller. I saw one in Niigata yesterday butwas looking up its backside on a power tower. The environment doesn't look as nice as yours.
