Mild November continues..............

It was about 18 degrees today, short sleeve weather, literally well rolled up sleeves maybe.................dragonflies are still buzzing around and I even got an insect bite. Weird weather we're having..................

I was hoping for better eagle shots than yesterday but it didn't really happen. They are still to far away and also too shy at this time of year and also there simply aren't that many yet, so standard cropped BIFs it is....................

At Oshamanbe I was surprised to see this Spotted Redshank. I thought the waders had long gone...................

A herd of Whooper Swans neaby contained a couple of Bewicks but sadly no geese (rare or otherwise). At Onuma the Ural Owl was in its hole.

It wasn't doing much but as it was getting dark I thought it may be active and fly away. It didn't move for 30 minutes and eventually I asked to borrow my wifes's 6D (much better at high ISO and full frame so I could fit in any BIFfing). At the exact moment we were swapping cameras/lenses lenses it flew off. It may be boring most of the time but I like to think it has a warped sense of humor at least.
