A rainy Sunday..............

A very grey misty wet November day in south Hokkaido today...................

There were a few more eagles in Yakumo but they all kept their distance.................I hardly ever seem to get good eagle photos until December or even January.

Standing in a sodden field I discovered my 'waterproof' hiking boots are not waterproof at all............

Not much else around, the usual common late autumn stuff including the above Long Tailed Tit, several woodpeckers, Japanese Wagtail, Brown Dipper, Jay, Great Egret, just 1 Kittiwake, the usual gull species and various ducks including a pair of Gadwall.....................

  5. A Long-tailed Tit is about as delightful a bird as any. And you new profile picture seems to prove that the Yeti exists in Japan!

    1. Well I don't quite know what to say about that, I hope you are referring to the snowman look and not any ape-like features......................
