Some group shots..............



Some shots from Oshamanbe yesterday afternoon...................


I took a few group shots of some common waders..............

I was surprised to see the overwintering Dunlin were still present and almost all were in summer plumage.




They look so much better at this time of year.................





There was a flock of a dozen or so Grey Tailed Tattler on the beach too.



I did a few shots of single birds too................




And here's a pair shot to finish off with.

  2. I saw some waders fly up the Shinano river last week but I can't find seaside anywhere that's not concreted. I worry they have no place to stop and feed around here. I wonder where they all come from?

    1. They come from SE Asia and even Australia................some can feed on manmade rivers, I've even seen a Dunlin on a picnic table in the mountains...................
