Great Egrets

There were 12 Great Egrets at Kamiiso this morning. They are always common at this time of year, there was one on the river near my house too.

Not much else around. Black Necked Grebe, Pelagic Cormorant, lots of common ducks (including Scaup) and large numbers of Black Headed Gull. On the local river there were a few late migrants in the bushes (including Red Flanked Bluetail and Long Tailed Rosefinch) plus a male Scaup well upstream yesterday.
