2 Wood Sandpiper, part of a flock in the ricefields in Ono 2 years ago today. I have to say I hardly ever get decent views of waders in this habitat (unlike many other local birders................what am I doing wrong?) but I got lucky this day.

Really good. Wood Sand is very rare here on passage with single figures most years.
ReplyDeleteAs for jammy photographers, I agree with top man Markus Varesvuo - as long as the golden moments outweigh the disappointments (somewhat paraphrased).
Well believe it or not it is a long holiday named 'Golden Week' here in Japan.........shame I didn't get any golden moments this year..........
